We believe that every child should have the opportunity to reach their full potential, no matter the community or circumstances into which they are born. Sikunye, meaning ‘we are together’ in isiXhosa, recognises the collective effort required to lay strong foundations for development in the First Thousand Days of life, from conception to two years of age. Sikunye inspires, mobilises and equips the church to support parents and caregivers during this crucial phase, so that their children can thrive.
